I am very skeptical about products like this but my once long, dark, thick lashes are showing my age! :( I have been using GrandeLash for a little over two months and I can definitely see a difference. Nothing earth shattering but enough to start getting compliments on my lashes again. Two slightly negative things - while my lashes are noticeably longer, I think they are now a bit thinner/wispy-er than they used to be. I was hoping to increase volume along with length so it's a bit disappointing. Second, there have been a handful of nights I forgot to apply the serum and the next day, several lashes completely fell out! This makes me worried for when I inevitably stop using the product completely but I'm already in too deep so I guess I'll just cross that bridge when I come to it. Back to positives - I was worried about my eye color darkening as I've heard that is a possible side effect. I like my eye color so this almost prevented me from trying the product in the first place but thankfully it doesn't seem to be an issue. I did experience the slightest darkening of my eyelid where I applied the product but I'm sure I'm the only one who has noticed. Overall, I am quite happy with my purchase. I'm on my second tube (I buy the smaller size) and plan to keep purchasing/using this product for the forseeable future.
Let me preface this by saying that I have salt & pepper hair including in my eyebrows which I dye. I've been using this product consistently once a day for about 5 weeks. I had given myself a bald spot on my lash line with my eyelash curler I suppose. I was getting nervous because it felt like the hairs weren't growing back so I placed an order. Thankfully the bald spot is filling in now. I don't know if I just jumped the gun and it would have filled in anyways but it is working (in my opinion) at least in the rate in which it's finally growing back. I don't have more eyelashes than I have before and the existing lashes aren't growing longer. However, I've also been applying it to my eyebrows to see if I could get hair back in bald spots that I've had since the 90s lol. Like I said at the start, I'm salt & pepper including my eyebrows so I dye them and I have noticed I'm having to dye them more often because of the rate of growth. But again like my eyelashes, I don't have more eyebrow hairs and the 90s bald spots are still bald. This product doesn't claim to be for the eyebrows but I figured it couldn't hurt so do with that information what you will. Good luck!
I’ll start off by saying this serum 100% increases length and density of your eyelashes. I get eyelash extensions regularly and have a bad habit of picking at them (on top of the inherent damaging nature of extensions). I end up with periods of super sparse and stubby lashes. The esthetician recommended (and swears by) Grande Lash so I’ve been using it on and off for over a year now. I can unequivocally say using this product completely revives my lashes - within two weeks I can see so many baby lashes growing back in and the ones I already have grow *multiple* milimeters in the length.
The only downside (and it’s much more well-known now), is that this product does contain a prostaglandin analog. Without droning on about the biochemistry/physiology of prostaglandins, long story short, they can cause hyperpigmentation. A more well-known example of this is with Latisse products having a known side effect of sometimes darkening a person’s eye color.
Basically for me, the actual skin where I applied the serum started out red and irritated, but after awhile I noticed it almost looked like I had black eyes and right above my lash line essentially turned purple (pictured).
This! On my second tube, and my eyelashes are insane. I'm complimented weekly! The serum itself is non-irritating like other brands. One swipe across the lashes will do the trick. I put it on a night, along with a swipe through my eyebrows. This is a delayed gratification process. I promise in a few weeks you will see results. The price point is mid-level but the quality is high-end. Don't walk, run to get this serum. You won't be disappointed.
As I approach the second half of life, I have noticed that my eyelashes have started to thin. My first response was to get my lashes tinted, thinking this would make them look fuller and more prominent, which it did but with as little as I realized I had, that can only do so much. So I ordered this after another serum did nothing. I can see my eyelashes standing (NOT leaning in) in front of my bathroom sink mirror. That is insane, and with no eyelash tinting! I will say I did notice a slight darkening of my skin around my waterline, but nothing that anyone else would notice, and if I'm wearing eye makeup anyway, then it wouldn't make a difference. I'm now ordering my second tube. Going to get my lashes tinted next week just for some vavavoom on my anniversary weekend but I can't believe how long and full my eyelashes are now after using this. I gave it 4 stars just because of the skin darkening and the fact that I haven't tried other serums except the one
